February 23rd: We famously storm Ars Nova!

Dearest little Cookie Monsters:

We know. We’ve kept you waiting a whole four months for our latest show.

But we trust that you were busy with scandalous things like Christ’s birthday or some other time-consuming tradition.

And now we’re BACK. And better than ever. And we’re back at Ars Nova, that Midtown safe haven for famous and infamous freaks like us.

We won’t waste anymore of your 2010 with pithy witticisms; we’ll just get right down to it.

Our NEW show, with NEW songs, and NEW outfits:

The Gay Agenda in
SONGSTYLES OF THE QUEER AND FAMOUS!
Tuesday, February 23rd at 8pm
Ars Nova
511 West 54th Street (just West of 10th Ave)

And fair warning:
Our last show at Ars Nova sold out two weeks in advance, so we urge you to buy early and often.

And finally, what if we said that, this time around, we’re getting a little help from our friends, namely director Josh Hecht, filmmaker Michael Lannan, and fine artist Derek Rippe? What would you do? Well, do it, because we’re saying it! Boo-yah.

We love you (and you love cookies!).

Famously,
TGA (Micah & Nicholas!)

We’re cute enough.

Holy crap, dearhearts.

We haven’t posted to this site in eons, and that’s thanks to SO MANY THINGS, not the least of which is this photo in none other than The New York Times:

TGA NYT

That’s right. Your semi-favorite-two-man-musical-theatre-post-punk-band was tearing up the stage at that hotbed of rising experimental artists, The Berkshire Fringe.

And now, after spending nearly a week with the lovelies who have taken over Simon’s Rock College for the summer, we are here to announce that we will have our long-awaited (by us, anyway) Ars Nova debut on Thursday, October 22nd, as part of their second annual ANT Fest.

Oh. Also. We just received this photo from our new friends at the Fringe. Look closely. It’s Ellen Brody and Barb from JAWS IV: THE REVENGE in gummy form. Can you believe it? They’re gummy. And they’re in the fake water together. You can eat them, just like at the end of the mini-musical. Holy crap. The innovation never ends in Great Barrington. We love them and you.
